This Sunday (March 13)
Hope everyone has had a good week and hope you can worship with us this Sunday. Billy's sermon title is: "Where Were You?" and the related scripture is John 11:1-45.
Shehkinah Spiral ... this Sunday (March 13)
We want to remind all women that "Shehkinah Spiral" will meet this Sunday after the worship service. The group usually meets the 3rd Sunday of the month, but had to move it up a Sunday this month. All women are invited to this study and support group. They have a Pot Luck/Covered Dish Lunch - so please bring a dish to share with others. You may put it in the kitchen prior to the worship service.
Holy Week Services
This is the last Sunday before Palm Sunday and Holy Week. There will be special services during Holy Week - including the choir's cantata. We encourage you to attend these services as they will greatly enhance your experience of Easter Sunday. Here are the dates and times of the services:
March 20 - Palm Sunday Service, 11:15 a.m.
March 20 - Choir's Easter Cantata "BELIEVE", 7:00 p.m.
March 24 - Maundy-Thursday Service, 7:00 p.m.
March 25 - Good Friday Tenebrae Service, 8:00 p.m.
March 27 - Easter Service, 11:15 a.m.
EASTER CANTATA "BELIEVE" PALM SUNDAY EVENING
The Chancel choir has been diligently rehearsing the emotional and uplifting cantata "Believe" which will be performed in the sanctuary Palm Sunday evening (March 20) at 7:00 PM. This special Communion service is a most wonderful way to enter Holy Week as we reflect upon the love, passion and resurrection of Jesus Christ. This is a great oppertunity to invite Non Asbury members to one of our services.
The Janice Gantt Butterfly Benefit, April 8 and 9
As most of you know, we are in the process of planning a benefit to be held in honor of Janice Gantt to help raise funds for her ongoing cancer treatment. So many of you have asked how you can help and we are thankful for your excitement.
If you are interested in helping, please contact Margaret Clay and she can direct you to the proper committee person based on your area of interest. Some of the areas we need help in are:
- Solicit items for the Silent Auction
- Sell Ads for the program
- Solicit Sponsors
- Sell Tickets
- Assist with the reception
- Spread the word about the benefit

NEXT NEW MEMBER CLASSES
Billy will again be leading New Member Orientation Classes at the beginning of April. The classes will be held after the worship services on April 3rd and 10th. The participants will then be invited to join the church on Sunday, April 17th. Lunch is provided for the participants for the two class sessions. ADULT CHOIR
Rehearsals every Wednesdays at 7:00 pm.
Everyone is welcome! Come join the excitement.

Wednesday Night Suppers at 6:00 pm
WNS every Wednesday. Children and youth are encouraged to be served first as there will be a choir rehearsal for them at 6:30. MYF (Methodist Youth Fellowship) & the Adult Choir are both meeting on Wednesdays at 7:00 pm.

Duffy Street House
Last Sunday, many took the opportunity to see the newly renovated Duffy Street House. We are looking for a renter at $900 a month. If you know of someone who might be interested, please call the church office (233-4351).
Nametags
If you attend Asbury often, we hope you have a nametag because we want to know you by name. If you don�t have a nametag, please write your name on the nametag board or call the church office, and we�ll order one for you.
Flower Calendar
We have the new 2005 Flower Calendar up in the narthex for those of you who would like to place flowers in memory or in honor of loved ones this year. Just fill in the information on the calendar.
