	Lighting of the Advent Candle of Hope Chelsea Hester & Chris Bradt light the Candle of Hope on the 1st Sunday of Advent.

	Choral Response from Choir The Asbury Memorial Choir sing a choral response to the lighting of the Advent Candle ... "Come, Child of Hope"

	Scripture Reading Rev. Bob Chvatal reads from the Book of Isaiah, chapter 2, verses 1-5.

	Missons at Asbury Rev. Billy Hester gives information about missions ongoing at Asbury including those about "Shelter from the Rain" concerning single mothers and a fundraiser coming up on Dec 9 and information about the Angel Tree.

	Sermon: Rev. Billy Hester gives his sermon "God's Dream for Humanity" based on the scripture from Isaiah 2:1-5 ... "They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore."
